Search Tips

It is possible to enter wildcard values in text fields. See the chart below for valid wildcard characters.

NOTE: The Course Section Finder and Course Catalog Information Search Screens add one multi-character wildcard * by default for the Course field after the search criteria is submitted.

• Find all courses that have a specific course abbreviation (e.g., CJ 101, CJ 175, CJ 275...)
  In Course field use Syntax:  CJ*
• Find all courses that contain the number 201 (e.g., ART 201, SPA 201, SW 201...)
  In Course field use Syntax:  *201*
